Lucie Barron Eggleston
Lucie Barron Eggleston is a master teacher, consultant, speaker, and storyteller. She founded Letter-Perfect Communications in 1982, to help organizations link communication and profitability. She is still working with the first company who ever booked a Letter-Perfect® program.
The organizational processes Lucie has created take the mystery out of communicating clear, compelling messages. She has adapted these processes in writing, presentation skills, and instructor training workshops for every major profession and industry. Her diverse client base includes manufacturing, technology, utilities, finance, law, accounting, and insurance. The demand for her expertise has carried her throughout the United States and to the United Kingdom.
Lucie easily connects with others through her engaging, conversational style. A hallmark of her workshops is her gifted storytelling. She uses stories, analogies, and examples to link her communication principles and the world of the audience.
Her passion for storytelling led Lucie to co-author Create Your Own Family Originals (www.familyoriginals.com) with Lucy Lewis. This delightful gift book inspires readers to celebrate their own stories. The book has been in national distribution since 2005. Lucie has also written two books on business writing.
Because she believes in "living out" her faith, Lucie has traveled to Africa as part of an inter-generational team to build a hospital. A former English teacher, she has also partnered with educational alliances to link workplace skills and high school English. She thrives on tapping human potential so clients see beyond the problem to the solution and move beyond their own point of view to shared understanding.
Lucie has a B.A. in English from Agnes Scott College and a Master's in English from Georgia State University. She lives in Columbia, South Carolina with her husband Bob and their yellow Labrador Retriever Hollywood.
